Arancino and Catania tavola calda
Arancino, cipollina, cartocciata and savoury pastries are everyday Catania words for quick breaks, bars and tradition. This is one of the strongest roots of Sicilian Goodness®.
®Sicilian Goodness® brings the identity of Sicilian street food: arancini and arancine, Sicilian savoury specialties, cannoli, granita, brioche and flavours inspired by the island’s different traditions. Today the network has 4 active stores and a central laboratory, with an expansion project designed to bring Sicily to more and more Italian cities.
At Sicilian Goodness there is no single right time. Breakfast with coffee, brioche and granita. An arancino that saves lunch. A cannolo when the day needs improving. Artisan gelato when “just a taste” becomes a full cup.
Our idea is simple: to give you a piece of Sicily whenever you want it.
Sicilian street food does not come from one city alone. Names, shapes and recipes change from province to province: Catania, Palermo and Messina are three major schools of street food, while every area of the island has recognisable specialties. Sicilian Goodness® tells this culture through the products actually available on its menu and the traditions that made them famous.

Palermo is a recognised street-food capital: arancina, panelle, sfincione and other popular foods tell a gastronomic culture different from eastern Sicily, but just as Sicilian.
Messina tradition brings to street food pidoni or pitoni, Messina-style focaccia and arancino, alongside granita and sweets such as pignolata. A precise food identity between Sicily and the Strait.
Pane cunzato, scacce, impanate, focacce and local recipes change across Trapani, Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Enna, Ragusa and Syracuse. This is why talking about Sicilian food means telling a regional heritage, not one recipe.
Both words belong to Sicily: “arancino” is strongly linked to eastern Sicily and Catania, while “arancina” is especially typical around Palermo. For us, it is not a dispute to settle but a richness to tell.
Outside Sicily, searches such as Sicilian street food, Sicilian arancini, Palermo arancine, Sicilian savoury specialties, Catania tavola calda, Messina focaccia, Sicilian cannoli e Sicilian granita describe different shades of the same food culture. Sicilian Goodness® brings these roots together in a contemporary concept, currently present in Veneto and designed to grow in new cities.
The most recognisable icon changes name between Catania and Palermo, but remains one of the most loved gateways to island street food.
Cartocciate, cipolline and counter specialties especially tell the eastern Sicilian and Catania tradition.
The sweet side completes the experience: ricotta, pistachio, almond, granita and brioche col tuppo are flavours instantly associated with Sicily.
Pidoni or pitoni, Messina focaccia, arancino, granita and pignolata add a distinctive voice to the region’s food heritage.

Arancini are one of the icons of Sicilian street food, and at Sicilian Goodness they become a collection of flavours to discover: classic, creamy, intense and vegetarian. The problem is not choosing the first; it is deciding when to stop.
“I’ll have one.” A sentence that never lasts long here.

Granita and brioche col tuppo are a ritual. Almond, pistachio, lemon, mulberry, coffee and many other flavours turn a break into something that tastes immediately of Sicilian summer.
Catania proudly defends its granita; in Messina, coffee “mezza con panna” is almost constitutional law. We avoid diplomatic incidents by tasting both. If someone says theirs is best, we simply ask them to prove it with a spoon.
Arancino or arancina? Catania or Messina granita? In Sicily, the best debates almost always end in front of something delicious.

Creams, fruit and island flavours: our artisan gelato celebrates pistachio, almond, cannolo, cassata and Nero Modicano IGP dark chocolate, alongside seasonal options.
Close your eyes. If you can taste Sicily, we have done our job.
On its own, in a brioche or after an arancino: there is no wrong way to choose gelato. There is only the next flavour.

Sicilian Goodness is also a concept with an integrated coffee bar, breakfast and caffetteria. Coffee, brioche, pastries, granita and Sicilian specialties make the store a place for different moments of the day, not only when arancino hunger hits.
Come for the coffee. Stay for the brioche. Return for everything else.
This is the heart of the concept: a complete experience combining the speed of a coffee bar, the pleasure of breakfast and the identity of Sicilian street food.
We value local and short-supply-chain ingredients when they suit the recipe and the territoryFor ingredients that truly express our identity, we choose Sicilian producers and ingredients from the island. This is how we preserve character, recognisability and flavour.
Pistachio, almond, ricotta, citrus, chocolate and identity-defining ingredients are selected with attention to origin and tradition.
Where possible we choose a short supply chain for fresh products and local ingredients, without turning “zero km” into an empty slogan.
